The Albay Yacht Club was set up in 1907 but has been dormant for decades. But that has changed with setting up a club site and building 12 Oz Goose Sailboats. Albay Yacht Club is a great Sailing Destination. Sail with the Whale Sharks.
In 2020 a group of enthusiasts decided to run a Family Boatbuilding Weekend event building 12 Oz Goose sailboats to restart the club.

Sailing Lessons, Sailboat and Kayak hire
They have regular teaching and racing and boat hire. Even Whale Shark tours. Though you might see these gentle giants pass by your Oz Goose Sailboat.
Boats of Club Members can be stored in a secured area. There is also a livery service – call them and your boat will be ready on the beach when you arrive and can be packed up after you leave. And a porter service to carry your boat across the road to the beach.
We do recommend, however, that you learn to rig your own boat.
Hosting Big events – the oz goose nationals 2022
The Albay Yacht Club hosted the 2022 Oz Goose National Championships with the biggest fleet of one design sailboats ever gathered for an event in the Philippines.
